Myron Beldock, Esq.
2019 Inductee
Beldock Levine & Hoffman LLP
(deceased)

Myron Beldock described himself as an old-time general practitioner. He concentrated on trial and appellate litigation, in state and federal courts, in defense of criminal charges and in pursuing plaintiffs’ civil rights actions based on police and prosecutorial misconduct and employer and governmental discrimination. He represented plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of personal and business-related matters, working with others in the firm’s various practice areas. Most of his cases were not high-profile murder-and-mayhem trials, and most of his days in court were spent ingloriously with clients accused of wrongdoing that never made headlines, or with plaintiffs, many of them poor and black, who contended that their rights had been infringed on by employers or government agencies.
